With the lockdowns due to Covid 19, face to face handmade arts & crafts markets has been a bit thin on the ground, I was lucky to be given a stall at this years Winter Arts Market at Liverpool Cathedral Saturday 5th December 2020.
Sterling Silver rainbow moonstone bezel set earrings
I ordered a bunch of oval and round healing crystals from a supplier, with the idea of practicing bezel settings with different shapes and sizes of cabochons. This is the story of what I did with the 10mm rainbow moonstone round cabochons I received.
I ordered some different shaped sized amber cabochons from one of my gemstone suppliers, this was a bit of a pot luck as to what I was going to receive, but when they arrived I was not sure what to make with them, so I asked my followers on Instagram.
As you may remember, before my second metal smithing workshop, I had planned to make a collection of aluminum stud earrings, and as such I created the stud part in preparation to adding the sterling silver posts to create the stud.
I have to admit Harrogate has been one of those places that I have always meant to visit, but it's real pain to get to from Liverpool, and as such it's a place that I have been putting off visiting, until now............
So after Soz getting her bag stolen, and spending a couple of hours, her filling in a police report, me checking out the local law enforcement, it's back to getting down to what we came to Barcelona for, having a fabulous time
Since stating up Joolzery, I have been experiencing doing a number of new things for the first time, that have really pushed me out of my comfort zone, while being both exciting and uncomfortable at the time, looking back it has been both a rewarding, interesting and insightful experience.
