In the UK, Fathers Day, is celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of June.
 

A day that honours and celebrates the role of Fathers, Step-fathers, Grand fathers, fatherhood, paternal bonds and the influence and importance of father figures within society.

As an orphan, this is a poignant day for me, as its a reminder of the loss of 3 of the most important and influential father figures during the  informative years of my life, my father, god father and maternal grandfather, who I had extremely close bonds, even with the limited time that I was lucky enough to spend with them, their influences still live on with me today, in their love, nurturing, protection, skills and talents.
