Now I admit, in all my years of having and using gemstones in my life I have never come across Hawks Eye, so when I came across some beads I just had to buy them to make some fabulous jewellery with them.

Hawks Eye is sometimes known as blue tigers eye or Falcons Eye, and is a rarer form of tigers eye, but tends to have a dark blue background colour.
