With so few Black History Month events this year, October was a relatively quiet month, in contrast November is chock a block of makers markets and pop ups in the North West.

Sisterhood Soiree Market

When we get together, it's a real vibe.

If you are looking for something truly special, that you definitely cannot find on the high street, and in some cases, nowhere else as Granby Street market has been cancelled, and want to support black owned independent businesses, then this is the market to visit.

With 20+ stalls, ranging from ceramics, wellness and wellbeing, African print accessories, African food, home decor, original art, and of course fabulous handcrafted jewellery this is the place to be!

Winter Pop Up in the Palmhouse Market

The big one!!!

Anyone who's anyone in the crafting and maker world wants to get into this, the Premier market event of Liverpool, so I'm always truly thankful and grateful, when I find out that I've been selected, especially as I've been given the full 3 days.

This is the market, that people come to do their Christmas shopping, as they know how good the range and quality of the art and crafts that the stallholders bring to this market.
 

With over 200 stalls exhibiting over the 3 days, if you can't find it here, it most probably doesn't exist, as there's something for everyone!!!

Ripon Cathedral Christmas Food and Gift Fair

After getting accepted to the Ripon Cathedral Spring Market, I was offered a cancelled jewellery space for their 2 day Christmas event, so naturally I said yes.

With over 100 independent small businesses stalls of selling everything from award winning handcrafted alcohol, wooden home decor, candles, art and so much more, this is an ideal place to do a bit of Christmas shopping, with festive treats including mulled wine, turkey sandwiches and a wonderful music programme.

Santas Grotto + Christmas Stalls

Instagram is such a great source of finding new events in very interesting venues.  The Didsbury Parsonage is such as place, and so when it popped up in my feed, and I saw that their Santas Grotto & Christmas Stalls event was on a spare Sunday, how could I not apply?

With over 30 stalls inside the parsonage, a marquee and gazebos, I'm so excited to be taking part.

Makers at the Mansion

Their last makers at the mansion of 2025, is a weekend affair, and although I applied for both days, I was only offered the Saturday, which actually worked out well for me, it's as if universe had my back.

With over 100 stalls taking part over the 2 days, both inside and outside the mansion house, this is great opportunity to find those elusive Christmas gifts and cards.

Festive Winter Fair

My last event of November sees me returning to the gloriously opulent Victoria Baths in Manchester, for their Festive Winter Fair
