Although it's June, the weather this month so far has been so atrocious.

We all associate June with summer, but the weather so far this month, is anything but the season, granted Summer doesn't officially start untile the Solstice on the 21st, but at least you could give us a little preview of the glorious days of the upcoming season.

In Liverpool currently, it just grey wet days, with a few gales thrown in to keep us on our toes, and my central heating is threatening to come on, so much for global warming.

Very much a home body, this weather is not enticing me to leave my bed, never mind the house, and it's in this vein, that my inspiration for my new collection of Citrtine earrings come.

Citrine possesses the power of the Sun and is an extremely beneficial stone with its warming energising and highly creative energy.

This is one of the reasons I have been wearing a Citrine pendant constantly for the last 30 years, and I have pieces in my purses and money box.

Wanting to bring about the energy of the sun, I found some elegant Citrine teardrop beads, that I thought would make perfect earrings for the summer, especially at festivals and away on holiday.

As each pair of earring are one of a kind, adding other gemstone synchronistically to create gorgeous pieces of metaphysical wearable for the season:
