Every lesson shared is a gift

As a child I loved learning, I was a sponge, and in hindsight I may have been the teachers worst nightmare, as my learning style was to understand, making me naturally curious.  Never afraid to ask the question, no matter how silly it appeared, with the word Why? coming a little too easy from my lips.

A teacher and/or mentor can be the difference to a childs success or failure in life.

In secondary school art wasn't one of my strongest subjects, I loved science because you had a theory, that you would then test with experiments, see the results and form conclusions, and it was very much black and white.

Art is more emotional and subjective, my weakest subject but the teacher recognised and encouraged my endeavours, regardless.

Conversely, physics was another matter, in secondary school in the first term I broke my glasses, and the teacher would pick on me, make fun of my surname, so consequently I choose to sit at the back of the class, not being able to see the board, thus not understand the topic, and just copy anothers notes, that til today I have no clue about the subject.  Till today I;ve never liked the subject or seek to understand it!

The future of the world is in the hands of teachers, with their jobs becoming increadingly challenging by the day, to show gratitude and appreciation of their invaluable contribution to society, here are 4 crystals:
