Mabon is the second harvest festival within the Pagan wheel of the year, a relatively new/modern addition, when the grain has been gathered, baskets overflow with fresh fruit and vegetables, signifying a time of plenty, where we give gratitude and share what we have with others.

A season for balance, completion and slowing down, for finishing projects, clearing space and releasing what no longer serves us as we move towards the period of rest and reflection over the winter.

Gone are the long days of sun and daylight, as the nights draw in.
